Once you finish Level 4, you become a professional member of AAT and you may use MAAT after your name to stand out from the crowd as an officially Accredited Accountant subject to meeting other criteria of AAT.

You will need to have completed AAT Level 2 and 3 unless you are exempt. You can find out eligibility below by completing an AAT skill-check.

  • Residence Permit issued by the Home Office together with your own country’s passport

  • Tenancy Agreement or Local Council Rent Card
  • Letter from HM Land Registry confirming address (within last 6 months)
  • Letter, Statement or Notice from HM Revenue & Customs (within last 6 months)
