This qualification provides the skills necessary for a 'Finance Officer' role including complex management accounting tasks, general management skills, drafting financial statements, and specialist learning areas.
This provides you with an opportunity to become a professional member of AAT and use MAAT after your name. You are also entitled to exemptions in the UK’s chartered and certified accounting qualifications.
Besides, if you want to pursue your career further at University, you are entitled to exemptions for up to two years at various universities in the UK.

Here you’ll learn how to draft financial statements for limited companies, perform complex management accounting tasks and develop your own management skills, perform tax calculations for businesses & individuals, and other specialist learning areas.
You will be awarded the "AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting certificate" from the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), once you have passed all the professional-level qualification exams and skill tests.
Once you finish Level 4, you become a professional member of AAT and you may use MAAT after your name to stand out from the crowd as an officially Accredited Accountant subject to meeting other criteria of AAT.
Once you’ve achieved the AAT Accounting Qualification, you’ll be able to:
- Apply for AAT professional membership and use the letters "MAAT" after your name
- Progress to chartered accountancy (gaining generous exemptions)
- Become your own boss with our members in practice (MIP) scheme
- Progress to university with AAT giving you UCAS points based on grading (Distinction = 56, Merit = 48, Pass = 32)
- Work overseas with our internationally recognised qualification
You should have completed the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting or equivalent accounting qualification.
If you have equivalent accounting qualifications or practical experience you may also be eligible for CPL (Credit for Prior Learning).

Flexible Payment Option: You may consider paying your fees over 6 equal monthly instalments. The second payment will start exactly after one month from the initial/first payment. This instalment plan is offered without Credit check, therefore, we require one form of Photo ID and one form of Proof of Address.

Booking with Deposit
Fees are discounted for a Limited period, therefore early booking is always advisable, you can book your course by paying as little as £100 Deposit* specially if you are not ready to start your course now. Therefore, even when the course fee increases it does not affect you. When you book with a deposit, we can book your place for 6 months from the payment date. If you start the course within 6 months of the booking the deposit amount will be deducted from the total Course fees.
